PDA Health offers accredited First aid training in the form of a Level 1, 2 and 3. The accreditation is held with the Department of Labour, the Health and Welfare Seta and all three courses are aligned with the South African Qualifications Authority unit standards.
To compliment the accredited courses
PDA Health offers a selection of skills development courses. These courses are structured to advance the ability of the trained first aider. Our Sports First aid course places additional focus on strapping and spinal injuries. Our operational first aid aims to assist the candidate with the stress management of attending to a patient.
PDA Health also offers unaccredited courses to assist the individual who wants to learn a life-saving skill, without requiring specific accreditation. Our Domestic first aid is aimed at a domestic worker that faces specific home based injuries. The Children’s first aid is focused on teaching pre-teens basic first aid and the Introduction to first aid course deals with common injuries including CPR and Choking.
